At The Los Angeles Police Museum, we are committed to making the amazing history of the LAPD accessible to anyone with the desire to learn more about it. Click one of the sections below to learn more about the services we offer to our members and non-members.

On a limited basis, members can receive information related to the history of the LAPD from sources housed at the historical society. Service records (personnel files) of police officers are the property of the City of Los Angeles, and no information contained within these records is available at LAPM. Information relating to places, dates and the history of the LAPD is generally available from the research staff.
